Remotely Connecting Technologists
to Your MR or CT Scanner:

Anywhere. Anyplace. Anytime.

Expert Technologists dedicated to serving your imaging needs

  • Uninterrupted Operations – We eliminate scheduling disruptions caused by absences, turnover, or holidays to ensure seamless patient throughput and consistent operational flow.
  • Convert fixed staffing costs into a flexible, on-demand model, paying only for productive time.
  • Expand operating hours up to 24/7/365 for greater patient access and higher revenue.
  • Improve operational efficiency and patient throughput while increasing revenue and improving cost control.
  • Safe, consistent, high-quality imaging and patient care.

Our highly qualified, certified Remote Scanning Technologists have decades of MR and CT experience and are matched to each study and scanner to ensure patient safety using secure, FDA-cleared, remote scanning hardware/software.

The on-site assistant, part of your staff, is a support professional responsible for direct (on-site), continuous patient care and collaborates with the Remote Scanning Technologist via secure, live audio-video communication to maintain patient safety.

We collect minimal Protected Health Information (PHI)—including name, MRN, date/time, and study details—along with documentation of interactions between the Remote Scanning Technologist and the on-site assistant to preserve accurate medical records and maintain accountability.

When an actual MR Technologist is not on-site at the MR console performing the scan, the MR Safety Tech—a trained healthcare professional—provides continuous direct care to ensure patient safety during MR scans.

They remain at the MR console except when assisting patients and function as Level 1 MR Personnel with selected Level 2 duties. Responsibilities include supervising Zones 3 and 4, strictly enforcing safety protocols, screening patients for contraindications, overseeing contrast use (when utilized), managing all on-site tasks and emergencies, and responding to patient distress. The MR Safety Tech collaborates in real time with the Remote MR Scanning Technologist via secure audio-video communication to relay critical patient information, confirm exam readiness, and coordinate and safeguard scan execution.

When an actual CT Technologist is not on-site at the CT console performing the scan, a CT Assistant—a certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) with specialized training in CT operations and emergency response—manages the CT suite. They preserve patient safety through screening for contraindications (particularly for IV contrast), maintaining radiation compliance, and handling on-site emergencies including addressing contrast reactions per site protocols. The CT Assistant provides continuous direct patient care and monitoring, operates the power injector and oversees IV contrast administration, and collaborates in real time with a Remote CT Scanning Technologist via secure audio-video communication to relay critical patient information, confirm exam readiness, coordinate and safeguard scan execution, and initiate scans as directed.

We partner with a well-known, reputable OEM and use their advanced technology platform to deliver our remote imaging solution, which is FDA-cleared. It is a secure, cloud-based, OEM agnostic remote scanning system that connects our Remote Scanning Technologist directly to your MR or CT scanners and integrates seamlessly with your radiology department or imaging center. We are happy to walk you through how the platform works and how it can enhance your operational efficiency.

We offer Protocol Review and Optimization conducted by our highly experienced, expert Remote CT and MR Technologists who specialize in protocol optimization, to develop safe and effective imaging protocols.

Additionally, our team offers Remote Expert Training designed to elevate your less experienced technologist’s skills and confidence and we also offer expert Remote CT and MR Technologists who specialize in complex and advanced studies, to enhance the skills and confidence of even your more experienced on-site staff. This personalized, real‑time mentorship and collaboration will allow your staff to grow and achieve their full potential.

Yes. Our solutions are designed to be flexible and can be tailored to your modality mix and volume. We are available to provide Remote Scanning MR and CT Technologists to your scanners 24/7/365.

Our efficient remote imaging services deliver substantial benefits, including filling vacant technologist positions (full-time, part-time, shifts, holidays, PRN, or call coverage) to increase your revenue through higher productivity, all while optimizing image quality with an emphasis on safety and patient care.

Yes. We routinely work with groups that operate multiple sites and/or locations who require consistent standards, processes, and quality across their network.

Your MR Safety Techs and/or CT Assistants and scheduling personnel are trained on an easy-to-use Modality Worklist application—a cloud-based, standalone software module, that we provide, from a leading HIPAA-compliant RIS/PACS supplier. Remote Imaging Specialists provide the training, enabling seamless schedule management and patient tracking from check-in to study completion.

No. Our service integrates seamlessly into your existing workflow, without disrupting any standard operations or departmental systems. Your scanners remain unaffected by the overlying third-party remote hardware/software, except when remote scanning is actively in use. Because we utilize an independent, secure, cloud-based Modality Worklist, your current RIS/PACS/EMR system remains completely untouched. All imaging data continues to flow through your existing PACS environment exactly as before, ensuring your radiologists’ access and processes remain unchanged.
